A-Z Book Survey

I saw my good friend Rachel at A Perfection Called Books do this and it looked so fun so I'm going to this.

Author You've Read the Most Books from: Cassandra Clare without a doubt. I have read all nine of her novels that have been published and I will read the rest of her stories until she is done.

Best Sequel Ever:
I guess Catching Fire because it was my favorite installment in the Hunger Games trilogy.

Currently Reading:
I am currently reading 3 books, so I'm going to show you those real quick:

Drink of Choice While Reading:
Either water or lemonade. Mostly water because I can be so boring.

E-Reader or Physical Book:
I love both, but I just prefer physical books because their physical books. I love my e-reader though, despite the fact I haven't used it a whole lot in the past couple of months.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Dated in High School:
I want to say Jem. Jem Carstairs (TID series) but he is more like my husband... Someone I would probably have dated in high school...I would say...maybe Simon from the TMI series.

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
There actually aren't too many books that I am super skeptical about reading. For most of the books I have listed on my goodreads, I either don't want to read them or I want to read them (more of the latter). But one I was glad I gave it a chance was Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Like I mentioned in my review, I am not a huge fan of high science fiction, but I absolutely loved Obsidian, I highly, highly recommend it.

Hidden Gem Book:
-after pondering for a few minutes...- Hourglass by Myra McEntire. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this book when I read it/finished it. Like I read from someone on the back of Timepiece, the second book, it is like a YA version of Doctor Who. So, if you like Doctor Who, I am certain you will love this! And I need to read Timepiece and Infinityglass like yesterday.

Important Moment in your Reading Life:
Reading City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. I can not describe, in a summery, how much reading her books has affected my reading life, but also my personal life. I might make a blog post about it, but I'm not going to go in depth right now.

Just Finished:
Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell, which was amazing and beautiful and you should read it now if you haven't. If you need convincing, read my review write here.

Kind of Books you Won't Read:

Erotica, seriously truly depressing books, sad stories. And that's it.

Longest Book You've Read: City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare, this 725 page monster.

Major Book Hangover Because of:
The book above. And when was the next time I finished a book after that?  18 days after I finished City of Heavenly Fire. In all honesty, I was really busy last week because stuff was going on, but still, that's a long time.

Number of Bookcases you Own:
1. It is so sad because I need a new one really soon!

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
I actually am not too much of a book rereader because I am kind of a slow reader and I would rather spend my time reading newer books than focusing on rereading others. But one book I think I'm going to be rereading in the future is Sorcerer's Stone and City of Bones.

Preferred Place to Read:
My computer area because my chair is the most comfortable place for me to read.

Quote that Inspires you/Gives you All the Feels From a Book you've Read:
There are too many, but this is my personal quote I would have to say:

“One must always be careful of books," said Tessa, "and what is inside them, for words have the power to change us.” - Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Angel

Reading Regret:
Not reading more when I was younger.

Series You Started and Need to Finish (all books of the series are out):
Too many. Let's have play a game that's called 'Let's see how many Series that are completed that Blaze hasn't finished!'
Shatter Me
If I Stay
Harry Potter (I'M WORKING MAI WAY THROUGH THEM NOW)

Hourglass
Delirium
Kane Chronicles
The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel
The Giver
Maximum Ride

Three of your All-Time Favorite Books: The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken, City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare, and Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell.

Unapologetic Fangirl for:
Cassandra Clare's books. Enough said.

Very Excited for this Release More than Others:
I want to say Heir of Fire, but I just started Throne of Glass. I would have to say I am most excited for Winter by Marissa Meyer, or since we won't get that until Novmember 2015, I would also say Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkins.

Worst Bookish Habit:
I have (for the most part) broken this habit, but I used to go to the last line of a book and read it. I still do that, but it's not as bad as it used to be.

X Marks the Spot- Start at the Top Left of your Shelf and Pick the 27th Book:
I'm going to have to go to my bookcase and do what I have to do. -afterward...- I got 'The Forest of Hands and Teeth' by Carrie Ryan. I don't know if there is really anything I can say for this. Next letter!

Your Latest Book Purchase: Let the Storm Break by Shannon Messenger. I haven't even started the Let the Sky Fall series, but I have the first one as well so I'm going to have to marathon them this summer.

ZZZ-snatcher- Last Book that Kept You Up WAY Too Late: I can be really paranoid, especially when I want to get sleep. But I would say any book by Cassandra Clare would do just that.

-naturally, I finish this a half hour later- I loved doing this tag! If you want to do this yourself, just say you saw this from me and go nuts.
