12 Days of Christmas Book Tag
Happy holidays everyone! I am here to do the 12 Days of Christmas Book tag. I first saw this on Kassidy Voinche's channel (click here to see said video) and this tag was originally created by LizzieLovesBooks and click here to see her video. My procrastination has kicked in and I am doing a Christmas book tag last minute, and unfortunately at this moment I will not be able to provide much of an example for any of these. I will show the cover and title of these books and hopefully after the holidays pass by I will come back and add explanations for these. Anyway, let's get started.

Liebster Award: The Unexpected Sequel
So, after my first request I have been getting a lot to do this so I'm just going to do this and the three or four others that I have been nominated from (and also take a little bit of a break from reading from the booktube-a-thon even though I've only read like fifty pages today but shhh....), if you have been waiting a while for this I am terribly sorry, but I am doing it due to everyone ever nominating me, so here it is:

#Goodbyes Books
I saw Ariel from Ariel Bissett make this video (link to it right here), and it inspired some people to do the same thing so I'm doing the same thing right now. Let's do this.
Now, let me say something right now. I personally am really picky about the books that I do pick out (except at second-hand bookstores, I do go a little crazy there). Even though my TBR pile is probably so big that I'll never be able to read them all, I do know what books I want to get and at a time, which ones I want to check out from the library, which ones I actually want to read. So, this pile isn't very large.
I did go through all of my books earlier today when I'm writing this (5/11/14), and I picked out five books that I don't want anymore. They all do have their separate reasons for why I am giving them away, so let's just jump in with this.
1. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Now, let me clarify this. Like another book later in this list, I do want to read this and I do have the desire to read this. However, I have two reasons for wanting to donate this book. Reason #1: Because it isn't in the absolute best condition since I did get this at a second-hand bookstore (not in the worst possible but still), and reason #2 (and this is the main reason): There are new paperback covers for this series,
and I strongly prefer them over the old ones. Also in case I do like this series and want to get the rest, I do want my series to match with the covers.
2. Words in the Dust by Trent Reedy
I am 200% sure you are like 'WTF is this book?' well, I got this book from school for free, and when I was looking through my books I literally felt no desire to read this book. So I'm giving it away to someone who will.
3. Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
I don't think I really need to describe the reason why I'm giving away. But the main reason I'm giving this away is because there are too many books for me to commit to in this series. There are 16 books in this series. 16. It's too many for me to follow along with.
4. Crossed by Ally Condie
This was actually the one I was on the fence about. Even though I did not like the first book much, I don't see myself reading this book anytime soon. If I want to read this book, I will probably borrow it from the library. But overall I just don't see myself reading it. I am, however, keeping Matched because I can see myself rereading it. And who knows, I may like it better the second time.
5. Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan
Now, this is the other book I said I wanted to read but I am getting rid of. And the reason is because my copy is a paperback, and the first and third books are in hardcover. So I naturally want to obtain a hardcover of this book. I don't know when I will get to this book, but I do know that I do want to get a hardcover copy of this book to match the rest of my series.

Mortal Instruments Monday; Week 2: Zombie Apocalypse Tag-Shadowhunter Version!
Only two weeks away, we are only two weeks away from the release of City of Heavenly Fire, the final final book in The Mortal Instruments series. In order to celebrate to the end, I decided start a mini-series type tag that I describe more in Week 1 which you can check out right here. But basically every week on the Monday, there is a Mortal Instruments related post, counting down to the release of the last book. For this week, we are doing the Zombie Apocalypse tag, but we are only going off the TMI and TID characters.
So, if you have no idea what this game is or how it works, I'll put down the rules really quick:
You take 5 of your favorite books (for this version only the TMI and TID books, just your 5 favorites from those both of those series altogether) and you write the titles down and put them in a jar. Once they are in the jar, you pick out a slip of paper and it decides the book you pick. When you do that, you take the book and open to a random page and the first name that you see on the page will be your character for the question/team member that will be part of your zombie apocalypse team. If you see a name that has already been picked, you use the next name.
There are 10 different positions that the book characters, and they are the following:
1. The first person to die
2. The person you trip to get away from the zombies
3. The first person to turn into a zombie
4. The person that trips YOU to get away from the zombies
5. The idiot of the team
6. The "brains" of the team
7. The team's medic
8. The weapons expert
9. The brawler
10. The Team Captain
This was created by Nathan Hale on Youtube and you check out his video right here.
So now that you know the rules, let's get this tag started.

5. I can usually read 2 books at the same times, but I'll sometimes read 3 books at the sometimes. I will never read more than 5 books at the same time.
6. I love Pokemon. And I also super excited about the Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remakes!

11. I have more to-be-read books than I will books I will actually read in my life.
Questions:
1. Who is your favorite author?
Cassandra Clare without a doubt. Her novels and the world she created are just phenomenal and I feel like everyone should give City of Bones a try.
2. What do you like most about blogging?
I love being able to talk about books and putting reviews and tags and monthly wrap-ups/tbrs up and just a book blog in general.
3. What’s your favorite book series?
The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. But if I had to choose a different series, I would say the Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer.
4. What was the worst book you have ever read all the way through?
Probably Matched, but I did not hate it when I first read it. I would have to say Gone maybe because I just did not like that book, during, and after reading it.
5. Have you ever stopped reading a book and never picked it back up?
I don't like to think of books I put down like that. Even the book that I absolutely did not like that I put down, I want to finish it someday. I haven't encountered a situation like that with a book, and I don't know if I would because I do fine good in every book I read, even if I hate it.
6. What if you could meet one author, who would it be and why?
I don't know, I probably would fangirl too much if I met any author. But if I had to chose one, I probably would say Marie Lu or Jennifer L. Armentrout. I don't know, too many to choice! Too many I would fangirl over!
7. What do you like to do other than reading?
Listen to music, play video games, eat food, and watch movies. TV shows could make it up here, but I have like lost the ability to successful watch TV shows without getting behind.
8. Favorite ship?
Any of the ships over there <---, but my ultimate ship would have to be Clace. I don't think I have to describe it. Let's just go onto the next question.
9. Ebooks or physical books?
Definitely physical books. I just love the feel of physical books and how the actual covers and the pages and ink and I just love physical books. But recently I like ebooks because you can carry like a hundred stories on one device.
10. Where do you mostly buy your books from?
Mostly from stores like Target. Sometimes I will go to Barnes & Nobles, but that is only on special occasions.
11. Favorite color?
I love pretty much all of the colors, I don't like certain shades of colors and I am not a huge fan of yellow, but I love basically all of the colors. If I had to pick a favorite, favorite color, I would say a royal purple/plum color.
Who I nominate:
Note: I only have two blogs down because I am having/had trouble finding blog who haven't done this/haven't been nominated to do this. So, I am going to cheat a little and only put two down.
1. http://devin-reads-books.blogspot.com/
2. http://books-abeautifultword.blogspot.com/
