So, there are a lot, and I mean a lot, of books and series that I absolutely love to every core of my existence. And I haven't really done one of these kind of posts, I kinda of did last year but my thoughts on them weren't the most coherent and I want to combine both into one post. Without further ado, let's start this.

Book Length: 277 pages
Publication Date: September 16th, 2014
Publisher: Simon & Schuster
Format: Hardcover
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Synopsis:
Finn Easton sees the
world through miles instead of minutes. It’s how he makes sense of the
world, and how he tries to convince himself that he’s a real boy and not
just a character in his father’s bestselling cult-classic book. Finn
has two things going for him: his best friend, the
possibly-insane-but-definitely-excellent Cade Hernandez, and Julia
Bishop, the first girl he’s ever loved.
Then Julia moves away, and Finn is heartbroken. Feeling restless and trapped in the book, Finn embarks on a road trip with Cade to visit their college of choice in Oklahoma. When an unexpected accident happens and the boys become unlikely heroes, they take an eye-opening detour away from everything they thought they had planned—and learn how to write their own destiny.
I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson (Review)
Genre: Contemporary
Book Length: 371 pages
Publication Date: September 16th, 2014
Publisher: Dial
Format: Hardcover
Synopsis:
A brilliant,
luminous story of first love, family, loss, and betrayal for fans of
John Green, David Levithan, and Rainbow Rowell
Jude and her twin brother, Noah, are incredibly close. At thirteen, isolated Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude cliff-dives and wears red-red lipstick and does the talking for both of them. But three years later, Jude and Noah are barely speaking. Something has happened to wreck the twins in different and dramatic ways . . . until Jude meets a cocky, broken, beautiful boy, as well as someone else—an even more unpredictable new force in her life. The early years are Noah's story to tell. The later years are Jude's. What the twins don't realize is that they each have only half the story, and if they could just find their way back to one another, they’d have a chance to remake their world.
This radiant novel from the acclaimed, award-winning author of The Sky Is Everywhere will leave you breathless and teary and laughing—often all at once.
Top 14 books of 2014
Wow, another year has come and gone. I am excited for this next year where many things will happen and I will read so many books, some I will hate and most I will at least like. But today, we are talking about my top 14 books of 2014.
Because some of these books are going to be hard for me to place in my order of absolute favorites, I'm just going to list my favorites through the year in the order which I read them in. I do have a disclaimer that there is still some time left in the year and I may end up finishing another book or two before it ends, so it might change.
