Booktube-a-Thon Update Day #7: WE MADE IT!

Guys! We have made it! We have reached the end of Booktube-a-Thon, and while I am sad that this awesome event is over I am also happy because now I can actually sleep (just kidding).

So, I haven't done a whole lot of reading because I spent most of it being lazy or eating or sleeping. But I have done a little bit of it. I have read 36 pages of Of Triton by Anna Banks, and since I currently still have a few hours left in the day, I will try and complete this because I only have 72 pages left so I need to get this complete and hopefully start/read the first chapter of Of Neptune, the third and final book.

So, I will talk to you guys tomorrow or the day after with my wrap-up, I hope your Booktube-a-Thon was a lot more successful than mine and I hope you completed at least two challenges.

Booktube-a-Thon Update Day #5 + #6: I AM BACK

I am back after over a day without my goodreads and reading life! But, I did not get a whole lot of reading done these past two days.

Yeasterday, you guys will be so proud of what I have read. I read six pages of Alienated! HALLELUJAH! I WON BOOKTUBE-A-THON! loljk I failed it hard.

Today, I was a little exhausted so two hours after I got back home I did read a little bit. I read nine pages of Alienated, AND I read ten pages of Of Triton! I honestly feel so proud of myself, especially since I am really exhausted. (And BTW, I decided to do an entire trilogy review on the Of Poseidon series when I finish it because I really don't want to write separate reviews for each book.

Booktube-A-Thon Update Day #4: WE'RE ALL DYING

I swear, I am barely at the 700 page mark, and I have gotten enough sleep the previous nights and I am losing my mind.

But, aside from mind-losing, I have been oddly productive reading-wise.

I read the last 137 pages of We Were Liars by E. Lockhart and I really liked it. I'll talk more about it in my monthly wrap-up and I do have a SPOILER review on it, so if you have read it you can check it out. OH, and also this does count to a challenge to read a book with red on the cover. And above the author's name there is red text color from a blurb by John Green so there. I actually have completed a challenge.

I also read 45 pages of Alienated by Melissa Lander and I might read a little more, but like I said I am losing my mind so I don't think I will.

Booktube-A-Thon Update Day #3/Mid-checkpoint

So, today for Booktube-A-Thon I definitly read more than I did for Day 2. I am going to try and read as much as I can for the next day and a half because of this reason: I will not be on the internet for a good 24 hours starting in the afternoon of Friday. On goodreads, I will tell you when I won't be on for the next day. I will be with my friend so I will not be doing a big chunk of reading. I might get snippets here and there, but not a full on sprint.

Anyway, here is my progress: I have read 37 pages of Of Triton by Anna Banks, so I am currently halfway through the book. I am hoping to get it done tomorrow, but I don't know the possibility of that. I then finally started We Were Liars by E. Lockhart after waiting about a month to read it. So naturally, I have read a lot of it. I figured out how this could complete a challenge. And that is to read a book with the color red on it, and the blurb above E. Lockhart's name is in red font. So boom. I will complete at least one challenge. Anyway, I have currently read 88 pages of it. I still have a couple of hours left so I probably will get a little more read.

Booktube-A-Thon Update Day #2

Guys, I totally failed day 2 of Booktube-a-Thon. I did not get as much reading as I wanted to, I did have an appointment so I have an excuse for not reading a little bit during the day and this afternoon I was just a bad person and did not read.

But despite that I am a little disappointed, I am still really proud of my progress and if I don't end up completely my entire TBR, than I am okay with that. This is more of a personal challenge I am doing and I just love it and love how Booktube is coming together and it is just honestly so crazy how big it is. Booktube-A-Thon even trended on Twitter, and that is really big. But even if I didn't read as much I hoped to, I am proud of what I have/will read and cherish this crazy week.


Anyway, sorry about the motivational speech I just had to get that out, but anyway I will get some more reading done before the night is over and post how many pages I have read because I still have a couple hours left in the day. So I am still on Of Triton by Anna Banks, and I am honestly a little disappointed that I didn't even hit the halfway mark because this is nearly 250 pages, but still I'm proud of the progress I made.


So, I have read 49 pages of Of Triton. I was hoping to finish this today but I got too distracted so I will finish this tomorrow and hopefully start Of Neptune, the third and final book in the series.

Booktube-A-Thon Update Day #1

So, Booktube-A-Thon Day #1. I have finished one book so far, but I was 25 pages into it prior to the read-a-thon, so I only read exactly 299 pages of the book. And that was:

Of Poseidon by Anna Banks

I decided that since I will not be able to marathon the Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo because I have to wait for Ruin and Rising to come in, I would marathon the Syrena Legacy series by Anna Banks since I already started it and I am borrowing the entire series from the library anyway.

I will not be writing a review for this until the read-a-thon is over, along with every other book I read during the read-a-thon.

I have started Of Triton by Anna Banks, obviously the sequel to Of Poseidon and the second book in the series. I will definitely be finishing this tomorrow since this is nearly 250 pages, so I will start Of Neptune once I finish it. I will be reading a little more before the night is over, so I will mention it in my Day #2 update. (Future Blaze: LOL, I just felt like putting all of the pages read for each day one the daily update post)
